  • The Sources: Rich reds are coaxed from madder root (Al), deep blacks (Syahi) from fermented iron scrap and molasses, and bright yellows from boiled pomegranate rinds and dried temple marigold petals.
  • The Eco-Impact: Our entire process is circular; our wastewater carries only biodegradable mud and plant juices, which we direct into local fields to safely nourish crops.
  • For Designers: We closely partner with independent sustainable fashion brands worldwide to create custom clothing lines, providing tailored wood-block carving and printing.

  • First Wash: Because we use pure, organic dyes, a minor bleeding of excess surface color during the first few washes is natural and expected.
  • Washing Instructions: Hand-wash separately in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral eco-detergent. Do not soak the fabric.
  • Drying & Ironing: Always dry your garments inside out in a shaded area away from harsh, direct sunlight to preserve dye longevity. Warm iron on the reverse side.

Our Craft Styles

    • What it is: A 350-year-old traditional printing technique native to our town of Bagru, Rajasthan.
    • The Motifs: We use hand-carved teakwood blocks to stamp intricate floral (Bel and Buta) and bold geometric patterns directly onto organic cotton and linen fabrics.
    • The Aesthetic: Characterized by crisp patterns stamped onto pale, cream-yellow backgrounds treated naturally with Harda fruit extract.
  • What it is: A laborious, nature-dependent resist-dyeing method that protects specific areas of the cloth from absorbing color.
  • The Mud Secret: Our family prepares a special Dabu paste by hand using local riverbed clay (Kali Mitti), roasted wheat chaff (Bidhan), and natural tree gum (Gond).
  • The Result: Beautiful, high-contrast patterns revealing the fabric’s original light background against a deep indigo field, complete with a signature natural “crackled” look.

  • The Process: Our fabric is dipped into deep, underground fermentation vats holding an organic brew of natural indigo plant extract, lime, and local jaggery.
  • The Transformation: Fabric emerges from the living vat looking lime green and magically oxidizes into a rich, celestial deep blue as it breathes in the open desert air.
